Tile & Grout
Mopping pushes dirty water into grout pores rather than extracting it. Grout is porous — it absorbs dirt, soap residue, and moisture over time. Professional tile and grout cleaning uses high-pressure extraction to pull embedded soil out of grout lines, which mopping simply can't do.
Tile cleaning focuses on the flat tile surface, removing dirt and grime. Grout cleaning targets the porous grout lines between tiles, where dirt becomes deeply embedded over time. Professional tile and grout cleaning addresses both at the same time using a high-pressure spinner tool.
Most tile and grout cleaning jobs take 2 to 4 hours depending on area size and soil level. If grout sealing is added, it usually adds a little extra time.
Typically every 3 to 5 years, depending on maintenance and foot traffic. Sealing may help extend the time between cleanings.
Sealing is generally recommended after a professional cleaning. It protects the grout and may extend the time between cleanings. If your grout was sealed recently and the sealer is still holding up, Stephan will tell you, and he'll only recommend resealing when your grout actually needs it.
Yes. Sealing is always done after cleaning, never over dirty grout, because sealer locks in whatever is underneath. On brand-new tile or fresh grout, Stephan does a light prep cleaning to remove any contaminants, then seals it.
Robinson Renew cleans ceramic, porcelain, travertine, Saltillo, and other natural stone tile floors. Travertine and natural stone get gentler treatment than ceramic and porcelain. Travertine sealing and granite countertop cleaning and sealing are also available.
Yes. Travertine, Saltillo, and other natural stone floors require specialized care with gentler pressure and pH-balanced solutions. Natural stone is quoted on-site.
Yes. Robinson Renew cleans exterior tile patios, travertine pavers, and concrete surfaces using truck-mounted equipment. Porcelain and ceramic patios are $0.70 per square foot; travertine and stone patios are quoted on-site.
Robinson Renew uses professional-grade cleaning solutions matched to your tile type. Natural stone like travertine gets gentler, stone-safe solutions, and ceramic and porcelain get stronger ones. Every floor gets a final rinse and extraction.
Tile usually dries quickly after cleaning, and the truck-mounted system pulls most of the water back out as it cleans. The cleaning also removes the built-up grime and soap film that collect on tile over time.
Clean between visits with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid vinegar, bleach, and harsh cleaners, which can damage grout, sealer, and natural stone.
Carpet
Truck-mounted hot water extraction, also known as steam cleaning. It's the method recommended by most major carpet manufacturers. You'll see the difference compared to portable machines or rental units.
Most homes benefit from professional carpet cleaning about every 6 to 12 months. Homes with pets, kids, or heavy foot traffic may need it more often. Stephan can suggest what makes sense for your home.
Carpet typically dries within 24 hours, and Arizona's low humidity usually helps it dry sooner. The truck-mounted system pulls most of the water back out as it cleans.
Stephan locates affected areas, using a UV light when needed, and treats them with professional enzyme and odor treatments matched to the situation. Results depend on how old and deep the urine is, and he'll tell you honestly what to expect.
Not with proper hot water extraction. Rapid re-soiling happens when soap residue is left in the carpet — common with rental machines. Truck-mounted extraction removes the cleaning solution along with the dirt.
Yes. Most synthetic rugs can typically be cleaned right in your home. Wool, natural-fiber, and delicate rugs may need specialized off-site cleaning, and Stephan will recommend the best option for your rug. Upholstery cleaning covers sofas, loveseats, recliners, ottomans, dining chairs, and accent chairs, and can be added to any carpet cleaning appointment.
Truck-mounted power means stronger suction and hotter water than typical portable machines. The equipment stays in the truck — only the hose and cleaning wand come inside your home.
Windows
Exterior windows are cleaned with a purified water-fed pole system that uses RODI (reverse osmosis deionized) water and reaches second-story windows from the ground. Interior windows are hand-detailed with professional squeegees and microfiber.
Yes. You can book interior only, exterior only, or both.
It depends on your home and how clear you like your windows. Some homeowners have them cleaned every few months, others once a year. Stephan can suggest a schedule that fits your home.
The water-fed pole reaches most residential windows from the ground. In rare cases where access requires it, safe ladder practices are used.
Yes. Solar panel cleaning is $10 per panel for single-story homes and $15 per panel for two-story homes, using the same purified water system as our windows.
